Produced by Boeing, the X-37B Orbital Text Vehicle (OTV) is an unmanned spaceplane created by the United States. Originating in 1999 as a NASA project, the X-37B was taken over by the Defense Department in 2004. The reusable spacecraft conducts orbital flights and is now operated by the Air Force to demonstrate reusable space technologies. Its aerodynamic design is based on that of the Space Shuttle. This 1/72-scale diecast model recreates this new vehicle in flight.
