The line of Marvel Minimates from Diamond Select Toys continues with the popular Civil War story! This set of four (4) Minimates includes the following figures:
1x Battle Damaged Captain America: Captain America’s uniform is tattered, and his shield is blood-splattered. Refusing to submit to the Superhuman Registration Act, unwilling to compromise in the face of blatant tyranny, Captain America becomes the leader of the Secret Avengers and stands in opposition of the likes of Iron Man and the other superheroes and villains gathered in support of the act.
1x Spider-Man: This version of Spider-Man is based upon the Iron Spider look, a more simplified costume pattern with a heavily stylized arachnid design, referencing Spider-Man’s evolved strengths and new abilities and the new red and gold costume subsequently created for him by Tony Stark.
1x Iron Man: Iron Man is clad in the contemporary red and gold armor, which invests him with drastically heightened strength, flight capability, and an arsenal of advanced weaponry. Tony Stark’s staunch support of the lame Superhuman Registration Act places him in opposition of a constituent of noteworthy superheroes led by the unwavering liberty-conscious Captain America.
1x Nitro: Nitro’s involvement in the Civil War storyline involved his battle against the New Warriors. Nitro generated an explosion that killed a handful of his fellow supervillains, members of the New Warriors including Princess Namorita, and a large number of civilians including school kids. The tragic recklessness on the part of either faction strengthened the division between supporters and non-supporters of the Superhuman Registration Act. Nitro was vengefully apprehended by the Atlanteans for his hand in the death of Princess Namorita.
