Each set contains the following:
Mark III Iron Man & Pepper Potts: Iron Man Mark III features a red suit of armor with a gold faceplate and blue eyes; this version of the armor represents the modified version complete with flight capability and more advanced weaponry. Pepper Potts, Tony Stark’s secretary is clad in a black outfit.
Iron Monger & Tony Stark: Iron Monger signifies Obadiah Stane’s rivalry with Tony Stark. The Iron Monger armor, seemingly based upon the Iron Man Mark I armor, is bulky and golem-like; interestingly, the Iron Monger armor has toes. Tony Stark is clad in a dark suit. Stark survives grave injury and capture by creating a super-powered armor with a built-in pacemaker and flamethrowers.
Mark I Iron Man & Jim Rhodes: Mark I Iron Man is a bulky silver super-powered armor with a built-in pacemaker and flamethrowers; this comparatively roughhewn suit of armor allowed Tony Stark to escape capture in Afghanistan. Jim Rhodes is dressed in a dark outfit with a blue tie. Rhodes, a pilot, develops a friendship with Tony Stark after being rescued by Stark.
Mark II Iron Man (Variant): The Mark II Iron Man armor combines the Mark I armor’s unadorned silver chassis with the sleeker design of the Mark III armor.
