The Battle Damaged Optimus Prime with Matrix of Leadership Bust stands 6” tall and is limited to 1000 pieces. Prime’s bulky chassis is rendered in a state of severe disrepair; his chestplate is opened and the Matrix of Leadership is removed. Having stymied a Decepticon invasion of Autobot City, Optimus Prime battled Megatron in single combat; unfortunately Megatron’s concept of a hand-to-hand fight involved the use of stray detritus, conveniently discarded weapons and even a dimwitted hostage shield. Optimus Prime ultimately conquered his adversary but stoically succumbed to his wounds immediately afterwards. When it became clear that Optimus would not survive, the Autobot leader disengaged the Matrix and passed it along to Ultra Magnus, sagely consoling the latter’s admitted feeling of unworthiness.
