Aglow with treacherous victory, Starscream is adorned by a billowing purple cape and the golden-wrought jewel-pronged crown of leadership. Starscream achieved this vainglorious height after opportunistically dispatching the wounded Megatron and then somehow convincing his fellow Decepticons that he, Starscream, was the leader for which they’d all been waiting. On the lilting current of a pompous coronation ceremony complete with Constructicon trumpeters, Starscream was reverently presented with the resplendent leadership crown---only to be destroyed by Galvatron even before he could orate his moral-boosting inaugural speech.
