Despite the fact the Andorian is dressed like one of the “villagers” at a Renaissance Festival, he is in fact an alien species from the moon Andoria. In the episode “Journey to Babel”, during an ambassadorial mission aboard the Enterprise, the Andorian called Thelev takes advantage of an argument between Vulcan Ambassador Sarek and Tellarite Ambassador Gav by secretly murdering the latter and framing the former. Later still, Thelev attacks Captain Kirk. Thelev is rendered unconscious and taken into custody. The Enterprise is attacked by an unknown vessel, and it is revealed that Thelev is in fact an Orion spy surgically altered to resemble an Andorian; the spy is working in tandem with the vessel now attacking the Enterprise.
