Mephisto is a demon with an incalculable level of reality-bending power. More often than not, he chooses to play a theatrically Satanic role in the affairs of mankind, sometimes abandoning a more straightforward approach in favor of more subtle evils. He goes to great lengths to corrupt his prey by use of temptations and cruel manipulations, but his power over his prey is contingent upon complicity. Conventionally, Mephisto is an entity ultimately immune to absolute destruction.
