These sets each include an individually boxed 4” figure along with a 20 page magazine with an illustrated history of the respective character. The Beast is clad in gauntlets and the remainder of a costume that can only be described as ‘X’-knickerbockers. This is the cat-head version of the Beast, marking the advanced mutation in his appearances and feral abilities. The Beast is positioned atop a base stamped with the Marvel insignia.
Initially the Beast looked human but had developed hints of simian anatomy, which reinforced his strength and athletic abilities. Later, he used his profound scientific mind and knack for chemistry to attempt to reverse his physical anomalies. The experiment went opposite of the intended effect, and the Beast became a beast---blue fur, fangs, claws. Still, he grew accustomed to his new form and learned to accept all of anomalies, even capitalizing upon them.
