These sets each include the respective individually boxed figure, measuring around 4” tall, as well as a 20 page magazine with an illustrated history of the character. This is a more modernized version of Blade, seemingly an amalgam of the comic version and the movie version, mounted to a black base imprinted with the Marvel insignia.
Like the movie version, Blade’s mother was attacked by a vampire, and later along the comic version suffered a bite from Morbius which gave him roughly the same Daywalker abilities attached to the movie version---in addition to his extended lifespan and preternatural senses, Blade then possessed superhuman strength, speed and endurance. The comic version Blade warred against a wide variety of supervillains and malign supernatural agencies. Additionally, Blade varyingly traveled in the company of fellow vampire hunters like the Nightstalkers and conventional superheroes such as Spider-Man and Doctor Strange. Both versions of Blade operate from an elaborate pool of weapons varying anywhere from stakes to hollow-point garlic-filled bullets.
