These sets each include the respective individually boxed figure, measuring around 4” tall, as well as a 20 page magazine with an illustrated history of the character. This is a slightly modernized version of Doctor Octopus in the long green coat, clutching his hands maniacally with his metal tentacles swirling forward, mounted to a black base imprinted with the Marvel insignia.
A laboratory accident merged Octopus, mind and body, with his four ultra-durable telescoping tentacles. He developed a symbiotic link with the appendages---a process that popped poor Otto’s PEZ dispenser beyond all repair and transformed him into a crazed supervillain. Though Octopus experienced brief periods of comparative lucidity, he generally retained an evil mastermind default setting. Once his fixation stirred towards his hated enemy Spider-Man, Octopus expanded his operation, rallying a handful of other villains and organizing the Sinister Six.
