These sets each include the respective individually boxed figure, measuring around 4” tall, as well as a 20 page magazine with an illustrated history of the character. Poised in the red and white costume with ivory-feathered wings slightly furled, the Angel is mounted to a black based imprinted with the Marvel insignia.
One of the original members of the X-Men, the Angel’s mutant abilities include his wings obviously but also extend to a secondary tier of attributes such as hollow bones and highly enhanced vision. Later, the Angel would finally inherit a slightly more masculine semblance after Apocalypse gave him the ‘Death’ treatment, turning his skin blue and giving him metallic wings with discharging feather blades. Long in the aftermath of this metamorphosis, the Angel would take the name Archangel.
