Chieftain of the Black Panther Clan, the Black Panther heightened his already superior strength and reflexes with an aggrandizing herb that stimulated his basic senses as well. His vestments and weapons are, in part, based in the rare vibration-absorbing substance Vibranium. Tribal rites compelled the Black Panther to battle against the Fantastic Four, though as time went on he would join up with the Avengers and become a more widely accepted superhero.
