The 14.25” Uncle Creepy Statue features a sepulchral environmental base complete with a stunt green creature and the blood-red ‘Creepy’ insignia. Uncle Creepy is a cadaverous undertaker type clad in the ragged moldering remains of antiquated attire. Uncle Creepy’s gaunt countenance is a withering and shadowy glimpse into a stark supernatural realm splattered with blood and dimly aglow with flesh-eating phantoms. The moribund black and white pages of Creepy magazine unabashedly presented a shrieking charnel house of horrific tales laden with ghouls, vampires, werewolves, zombies, witches, and even gelatinous space-borne horrors. Uncle Creepy was the magazine’s tour guide, venturing from the vaporous darkness of his dank tomb long enough to regale readers with snippets of sardonic commentary.
