Archie first appeared in Pep Comics #22 in 1941, followed closely by his own comic- book series. The year 2011 marks the seventieth anniversary of Archie, and with Dark Horse poised to begin releasing the Archie Firsts, we are proud to give the Archie family our signature Syroco-style treatment.
The fourth character statuette in our series of five is Jughead. The offbeat, eccentric pal of Archie, Jughead is self-confident and never worries about what others think of the way he acts or dresses. Jughead is seen by some as an outcast, because he doesn't follow the pack. However, his true friends, Archie and Betty, understand him and love him for who he is.
