It's the matchup you've been waiting for - Batman vs. Bane!
After the blockbuster The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters, this statue personifies the epic struggle between good and evil. Every legend has an ending-will Bane be Batman's undoing?
This scene-stealing collectible is sure to fly off the shelves! This hand-painted, cold-cast porcelain statue is packaged in a 4-color box.
Sculpted by Dave Cortes and Paul Harding
Statue measures approximately 16" tall.
Excommunicated by Ra’s al Ghul, Bane leads the remnants of the League of Shadows to denigrate Gotham City. Bane’s presence in Gotham is revealed prematurely when fleeing thugs inadvertently lead Commissionor Gordon to Bane to the latter’s sewer lair. Gordon ostensibly becomes privy to Bane’s plan to attack the Gotham Stock Exchange, however before Gordon escapes Bane commandeers a confession letter, written by Gordon, which reveals the truth of Dent’s murderous alter ego, Two Face, and exonerates the vilified Batman. Bane saves the letter, recongzing the confession as a perfect means of demoralizing Gotham and plunging the already precarious city into chaos. Catwoman leads Batman into a trap, forcing the battered and the unpracticed into one-on-one duel. Bane’s familiarity with Batman attack style, combined with the former’s near-superhuman physical strength, enable him to toy with Batman almost leisurely. At the zenith of he battle, Bane breaks Batman’s back, effectively neutralizing his opponent.
