Sinestro is back in green in this beautiful bust from DC Direct! Sinestro was originally selected by the Guardians of the Universe to become a member of the Green Lantern Corps for his honor and fearlessness. At his height, he was considered to be the greatest of all the Green Lanterns, and Sector 1417 was almost entirely devoid of crime under his protection. Events soon led him down a darker path...so there's no telling what his sinister intentions are now!
Originally a member of the Green Lantern Corps, Sinestro gradually becomes the tyrannical ruler of his homeworld, Korugar. He is relieved of his command by the Guardians, deprived of his green power ring, and banished to an anti-matter universe where he forms and alliance with the Weaponers of Qward. Supplied with a yellow power ring, powered by the emotion of fear, Sinestro endeavors to eradicate the entire Green Lantern Corps, and ultimately founds the Sinestro Corps. During the events of Blackest Night Sinestro is eventually forced to establish a truce with all rival lantern corps, to withstand the relentless assault of the Black Lantern Corps.
