Each Blackest Night figures features multiple points of articulation, is accompanied by character-specific accessories and a faction-themed display base, and is presented in 4-color clamshell blister card packaging.
Blackest Night Series 08: Set of 4 includes the following figures:
1x Orange Lantern Lex Luthor (6.75” tall): Equipped with an orange power battery, Lex Luthor is clad in a translucent Orange-energy manifestation of Luthor’s battle armor. Having been born to wealth and status, Lex Luthor’s indiscriminate quest for further wealth and power is punctuated by instances of betrayal and murder. During the Blackest Night conflict, Luthor places self-preservation ahead of loyalty towards previous allies. A creep among creeps, Lex Luthor’s foul character and scrabbling avarice earn him the greed-fueled Orange Power Ring.
1x Sinestro Corps Member Scarecrow (6.5” tall): The Scarecrow is clad in his personalized version of the Black Lantern Corps uniform, complete with frayed hat and trench coat. Having mastered the infliction of fear by means of his specially developed toxics, the Scarecrow himself has gradually lost the ability to experience the emotion, except during instances in which he is hunted by Batman. Following Batman’s death, the Scarecrow is enveloped in crushing despair, although he regains his former zeal when afforded the opportunity to wield a fuel-fueled Yellow Power Ring.
1x Black Lantern Black Flash (6.75” tall): The decaying, leering Black Flash is clad in his personalized version of the Black Lantern Corps Uniform. This version of the Black Flash is the identity assumed by the reanimated Zoom; the Black Flash assumes command of the other reanimated members of the Flash Rogue’s Gallery. During an assault on Iron Heights, the Black Flash and his minions are confronted by the living version of Zoom, and in the ensuing confusion the Black Lanterns’ rings are inexplicably reconfigured to display the new insignia representative of the forthcoming Brightest Day storyline.
1x Indigo Tribe The Atom (6.75” tall): Equipped with a power staff, the Atom is clad in his personalized version of an Indigo Tribe costume. Luring into a trap by the Black Lantern Corps Hawkman, the Atom narrowly escapes death by utilizing his subatomic diminishing power. Later, fighting alongside Green Lantern and the Flash against the Black Lanterns, the Atom is attacked by undead versions of Elongated Man and Sue Dibny. Nearly succumbing to the Black Lanterns, the Atom is rescued by the Indigo Tribe, and is given a compassion-fueled Indigo Power Ring.
