Each Blackest Night figures features multiple points of articulation, is accompanied by character-specific accessories and a faction-themed display base, and is presented in 4-color clamshell blister card packaging.
Blackest Night Series 07: Set of 4 includes the following:
1x Black Lantern Superman (6.75” tall): This version of Superman is clad in his personalized version of the Black Lantern Corps costume, complete with “S” emblem and cape. Connor Kent is working to establish himself as an ordinary resident of Smallville when the otherwise quiet town is attacked by the Earth 2 Superman, the ghastly skull-faced Black Lantern Kal-L. Fortuitously, Connor is partnered with the mainstream Superman, the latter having temporary left New Krypton to visit the Kent family. The taunting Kal-L is eager to return both Superboy and Superman to their former deceased status.
1x Black Lantern Terra with Scar (5.5” tall Terra; 4.5” tall Scar): The decaying Terra is clad in her original costume with a Black Lantern Corps color scheme. Terra was resurrected to undermine and destroy the Teen Titans, and later battled against the Outsiders before being transformed into stone by her brother Geo-Force. The ashen-hued Scar is clad in a black and silver robe. Scar betrayed her fellow Guardians to enable the Black Lanterns to ascend to power. The Guardians learned that Scar had actually succumbed to the Anti-Monitor’s previous attack, and had been granted access to the Guardians’ enemy, Nekron. Serving as the Guardian of the Black Lantern Corps, Scar recruited the deceased Black Hand.
1x Red Lantern Mera (6.5” tall): Equipped with a jewel-studded trident, Mera is clad in her scale-textured personalized version of the Red Lantern Corps uniform, and is accompanied by fellow Red Lantern Corpsman, Dex-Starr. Following the death of Aquaman and the razing of Atlantic, Queen Mera, faced with planetwide crisis assembles her own army to avenge her husband and her destroyed kingdom. Succeeding in her goal, Mera is subsequently horrified to learn that the remains of Aquaman have been inducted into the ranks of the Black Lantern Corps. Mera’s sorrow and thirst for vengeance earn her the rage-fueled Red Power Ring. A participant in the effort to liberate Sinestro from the custody of the Green Lanterns, the fiendish and yet adorable Dex-Starr is considered to be one of the most dangerous Red Lantern Corpsmen.
1x Sinestro Corps Member Arkillo (7.5” tall): Equipped with a yellow power battery, the monstrous tusk-laden Arkillo is clad in his Sinestro Corps uniform, complete with grisly severed tongue necklace. Serving as a Sinestro Corps drill sergeant, Arkillo was among the first of the villains recruited by Sinestro. During Sinestro’s absence Arkillo challenged Mongul’s claimed leadership; in the ensuing duel, Arkillo was overpowered by Mongul, the latter of whom ripped Arkillo’s tongue from his mouth and forced him (Arkillo) to wear the tongue as a necklace. Enraged to the point of indiscriminate savagery, Arkillo did finally receive some satisfaction when Sinestro returned and quickly replaced Mongul as the rightful leader of the Sinestro Corps. Ultimately, Arkillo was one of many warriors who allied against the threat of the Black Lantern Corps.
