The 1/2 Scale The Joker Bust measures approximately 13.75” high x 10” wide x 6.25” deep, includes a 4-color certificate of authenticity, and is packaged in a 4-color box. The Joker Bust is cold cast porcelain dressed in a fabric costume. The Joker’s cadaverous complexion is accentuated by his rictus grin. Despite varying possible origins, some of which conceive the Joker as evil from the outset, one of the best origin stories was depicted in the Killing Joke: The Joker began as a failed comedian desperate to support a pregnant wife, and was duped into becoming the Red Hood prior to falling into the vat of chemicals. The Joker was spawned by hopelessness, despair and insanity, ironically developing a grand scale sense of humor. Generating schemes around toxic chemical agents, outlandish stunts and cataclysmic absurdities, the Joker devotes his existence to breaking the grim Batman one way or another.
