At 1:4 scale, this museum-quality, mixed-media figure is composed of resin, metal and an expertly crafted fabric costume and poseable cape. Batman is presented climbing the steps out of the Batcave on a sculpted base. This limited edition statue includes a Certificate of Authenticity and is packaged in a gold-foil stamped black gift box.
Subjected to the murder of his parents as a boy, Bruce Wayne put the experience in a place of darkness and bided his time. He spent his young adult years disciplining his mind and body with the intention of ultimately wresting Gotham City from the grubby paws of varying criminal interests. Externalizing his aversions to bats and becoming a dark-clad avenger, Batman terrorized Gotham’s criminals with his presence, and in doing so inadvertently provided a conceptual window for a host of costumed supervillains eager to defeat Batman at his own game.
