Lex Luthor: Reforming a semblance of the Legion of Doom---a group known for super-sinister schemes like liquid sunlight and the transformation of the world’s populace into Bizarro and Cheetah clones---Lex Luthor hatches a new scheme based in faux altruism and the vilification of the Justice League.
Brainiac: Brainiac has signed on for Luthor’s grand scheme. Believing that his LOD outfit, pink underwear with a brainpan colander, sissified him somewhat, Brainiac has revamped his entire look with a white laboratory mumu and an Ultra-Humanite-esque simian mascot. Given that some of Brainiac’s contribution to the cause involves brain dissection, he comes complete with a disembodied brain.
Green Arrow: Armed with bow and quiver, Green arrow scoffs contemptuously at the many super powers at work around him, as he is drawn into the super villain phalanx surreptitiously launched during Luthor’s goodwill speech to the world.
Martian Manhunter: Aquaman goes missing, which prompts the Martian Manhunter to search for him. This calls upon the Manhunter’s shapeshifting ability; he transforms into a whale simulacrum to search the ocean.
Red Tornado: A cataclysmic elemental force encased within a humanoid robot, the Red Tornado’s initial presence here was more cursory, as he more or less participated in the big Aquaman search. The Tornado’s only weakness seems to be the comparatively lesser durability of his robotic body when measured against his elemental power.
