The Nightwing 13" Deluxe Collector Figure features authentically detailed fabric costume, alternate mask, two Escrima sticks and a display stand. Nightwing’s costume is comparatively austere. A natural acrobat, Nightwing is imbued with superior reflexes and more importantly reinforced by the invaluable field experience and teachings, physical and mental, imparted to him by Batman.
Originating with the Robin alter ego, serving as Batman’s credulous sidekick, Dick Grayson participated with in an early involvement with the other young superhero sidekicks comprising the Teen Titans. Eventually Robin left his apprenticeship to Batman and used an ancient Kryptonian superhero as his template for the Nightwing identity. He was attached to a newer, more earnest manifestation of the Teen Titans. Later, Nightwing was irked when Batman, after falling to Bane, appointed Azrael, rather than Nightwing, as his successor.
