The extraordinary history of Star Wars is presented in an exceptional magazine and figurine collection. Each episode of the six-film series has contributed memorable characters to the saga - and to pop culture. Each figure is sculpted under the direct guidance of Lucasfilm to create an exceptional series of figurines at 1/32-scale. The magazine perfectly complements the collection of miniatures, with biographies, anecdotes, images, and more, all obtained from the Lucasfilm archives. Continue your collection with the Oola the Dancer (#45) and the Imperial TIE-Fighter Pilot (#46)!
In Return of the Jedi, Oola, a renowned Twi’lek dancer, was introduced as Jabba’s concubine, spending the entirety of her existence chained to the Hutt’s squalid throne dais. Oola’s lithe gracefulness and tragic beauty set her apart from the majority of the scrabbling, grotesque denizens which frequented Jabba’s dimly-illuminated throne chamber. Oola accomplished little more than to provide lewd amusement for the Hutt’s cronies. At Jabba’s bidding, he floor abruptly gave way beneath Oola’s sandaled feet, and the Twi’lek’s terrified shrieks were heard as she toppled into the pit directly below. The nature of this pit was only revealed later, once the captive Leia had taken Oola’s place, as the feeding cave of the slavering, hideous, flesh-devouring Rancor.
