Featuring a sleek Harrier jet mode and conehead robot mode, as well as a predominantly blue and brown color scheme, Revenge of the Fallen Dirge is strongly reminiscent of his morose Gen 1 counterpart; he is equipped with wing-situated projectile-firing launchers which can be converted into handheld blasters. Dirge initially developed a plan to infiltrate NEST headquarters and initiate a campaign of terror which would demoralize the humans and their Autobot allies. Unfortunately, however, a minor misstep revealed Dirge’s presence, unraveling his schemes and forcing him to circumnavigate the efforts of both Bumblebee and Armorhide.
