In homage to Optimus Prime, the greatest of all Autobots, the 12” Masterpiece Prime utilizes plastic and die-cast metal to create an uncannily accurate version of the Gen 1 Prime---skewed a little more in line with the cartoon-version Optimus. In classic flat-nosed truck mode, he sports rubber wheels and working suspension.
Spawned by taut conception and drastically heightened toy engineering, the robot mode is intricately constructed with aesthetic-camouflaged articulation, right down to the finger joints and even the small range of movement allotted to the faceplate.
He features heroically blue-colored eyes and an opening chest housing for a replica of the Matrix of Leadership complete with transcendent blue-glowing effect. Additionally, he comes with an alternate energon axe appendage and a P-38 pistol version of Megatron complete with scope and silencer. Even better, the Prime figure is physically heavy enough to pummel many Decepticon adversaries (or at the absolute minimum, Rumble).
