In vehicle mode, Vector Prime transforms into a starship capable of supporting his transformed Mini-Con partner as an add-on forward gun. His entire chassis is sculpted with intricate interweaving clockwork patterns, owing to Vector Prime’s ancient origin as one of the original thirteen robots developed by Primus. In robot mode, he’s highly articulated. His wings fold backwards in the semblance of a cloak. He’s armed both with his Mini-Con partner, Safeguard, serving as a gauntlet-mounted gun, and his semi-translucent sword which allows him to manufacture dimensional transport gates. The repaint version of Vector Prime is done in gold and black, with his semi-translucent wing plates and sword done in red. Safeguard is also revamped in gold and black.
Reactivated after a long hiatus, Vector Prime was duped by Megatron, and to rectify his mistake, he joined on with the Autobots, imparting to Prime the importance of the Cyber Keys. Vector Prime is resourceful, disciplined, and extremely powerful, with some of his tech specs measuring unknown quantifications. Vector Prime maintains control over both Space and Time, which makes him a built-in Spacebridge and which has given him the ability to turn time backwards, in order to save his friends, though at great personal cost. At one point in the show, he was seemingly destroyed, but his essence would persevere, and reconstitute later to aid the Autobots, equipping Optimus Prime with his sword to deal with a power-gorged Galvatron.
