The Bumblebee Evolution of a Hero set includes the classic Camaro Bumblebee with double missile-launching blasters and the Camaro Concept version with a cannon that converts into a bladed weapon. (This upgrade was performed by a slightly incensed Bumblebee after Mikaela innocently referenced Bumblebee’s vehicle mode as a piece of crap.) Bumblebee is charged with the task of remaining concealed as he scouts the location of the Allspark. A previous dust-up with Megatron left Bumblebee unable to speak, necessitating that he communicate by alternate means. Like the original Bumblebee, he’s cited as one of Optimus Prime’s bravest and most trusted troops. In the wake of the battle in Mission City, once Bumblebee had recovered his ability to speak, he expressed the fact that he preferred to stay with his new friend Sam.
