Dark Crumplezone is back from the dead, resurrected, by Galvatron, alongside Leobreaker’s malignant clone Nemesis Breaker, and it’s a good thing, because the only thing better than a robot is a robot zombie. Dark Crumplezone is still a singular-purpose Decepticon. He boasts a strength of 9 and an intelligence of 3.5. Thinking is overrated; he’s ready to dig in and seriously annihilate some Autobots. There is a Japanese repaint of Ransack as a police cycle, but what they really need to is a Dark Ransack to go with Dark Crumplezone; that way the mayhem would be perfectly balanced.
This foot soldier perfectly demonstrates the inherit superiority of mechanical construction. He’s strictly brute force, a bruiser with a metal-crunching trapjaw. Dark Crumplezone is detailed with bolder colors and stylized designs, giving him a more resonant presence on the battlefield. Additionally, there are structural alterations. He is now fitted with translucent sections, additional fins, and more contrasting piping behind the eyes. His impressive chassis has been modified with sharper angles and additional firepower. These alterations blend perfectly with Dark Crumplezone’s heavy apelike design, taking nothing away from his articulation. His Cyber Key function enables his behemoth-sized, shoulder-mounted twin missile launchers.
