The Face Off 2-Pack is set in scale and in matching articulation with the Marvel Legends line. These sets include durable display bases with clip-on diorama scenes.
This is the standard Captain America, featuring full regalia with wing-fringed mask. The captain comes equipped with his nearly indestructible steel/Vibranium discus-shield. Generated via the Super-Serum, Captain America was unleashed on Nazi Germany before ultimately succumbing to a state of suspended animation. The cold would keep him intact for decades, and eventually Captain America would return, soon learning that his old enemy the Red Skull had been roughly preserved as well.
The Red Skull is armed and clad in a more modernized armor-plated uniform. In his previous life, during the Nazi regime, the Skull served as a right hand to and chief operative of Hitler. The gruesome Red Skull mask was intended to serve as a terroristic measure. Almost abruptly, the Red Skull found himself in direct opposition to Captain America. Buried in a collapsed bunker, the Skull used a gas compound to keep him in suspended animation, assuring that he would face his hated enemy yet again.
