Takara will modify the paint schemes on all the Japanese Classics figures. They are introducing completely different paint on Megatron and Astrotrain, and the other figures all will have chrome added along with slightly different designs to their paint scheme.
The Classics Mirage incorporates elements of both the Gen 1 and the Dreamwave versions. Though lacking the shoulder-mounted weapon, his sleek vehicle mode creates the basis for an impressive, slightly nonlinear robot mode. Mirage is well articulated. The front airfoil detaches and serves the robot mode as a crossbow-shaped electro disrupter. Mirage’s character profile lists him as a counterpart to Bumblebee in an Autobot spy team, although it specifies that Mirage prefers sabotage to intelligence work. His electro disputer assists him with the abilities to achieve invisibility and manufacture illusions.
