Universe Classics: Series 15: Sinestro Corps Batman features multiple points of articulation, and is accompanied by one of the pieces required to assemble the Build-A-Figure Validus. Clad in a Sinestro Corps uniform patterned after his standard costume, the snarling Sinestro Corps Batman is equipped with a translucent yellow ring projection of an inordinately large and vicious batarang. Predicated on Batman’s ability to instill fear in his prey, the Sinestro Corps attempted to recruit Batman as the yellow lantern corpsman of Space Sector 2814. However, Batman’s intractable will enabled him to overpower the yellow power ring’s influence and resist formal induction into the obedient ranks of the Sinestro Corps, prompting the ring to instead seek out Amon Sur, the malcontented offspring of Abin Sur.
