These sets each include the respective individually boxed figure, measuring around 4” tall, as well as a 20 page magazine with an illustrated history of the character. This is an especially fun-loving maniacal version of the Red Skull, brandishing double guns, buried beneath a whole heap of sterling Nazi finery, mounted to a black base imprinted with the Marvel insignia.
There have been a few versions of the Red Skull. The Schmidt version, more or less established as the prototype version, rose from mediocrity just like Hitler. He was trained and assigned to various factions of the Nazi effort---while secretly generating his own schemes. The US equivalent to the Red Skull was Captain America, and cannily the Skull and the Captain became archenemies. Exposed to experimental gas vapors, the Red Skull was preserved (though ultimately imperfectly) just like Captain America. Later, the Skull would establish himself as a modern-day villain, although, generally speaking, most of his fellow super villains regard him with contempt.
