His inherit taciturnity and morbidity are such that even his fellow Coneheads are sometimes unsettled by him. However, Dirge must retain control of a given situation or he himself will fall victim to debilitating fear. Having already faced destruction and subsequently experienced the chilling nothingness of being offline, a darker, more dedicated Dirge now derives a greater sense of grim, ghoulish vindication from each adversary he destroys and condemns to the same nothingness.
