Universe Voyager Wave 02: Autobot Blades is a repaint of the mold used to make Cybertron Evac as well as Universe Springer. This version of Autobot Blades features a predominantly red color scheme with touches of white, black and blue. In robot mode, Blades’ rotor component becomes an arm-mounted push-activated bladed weapon. His Cyber Key function enables shoulder-situated missile launchers. Blades prefers to utilize his blades as melee weapons, and considers long-range air attacks to be the fodder of cowards. Blades boasts a maximum speed of 400 mph with a range of 1200 miles. His twin missile launchers fire rockets that seek out a designated target based upon encoded computer images. The Gen 1 version of Blades was one of the Protectobots, capable of joining with his teammates to form Defensor.
