The Deluxe Mission Set: Mantis Mech features extensive articulation and removable parts to allow for reconfigured assault modes. The Mantis comes complete with opening cockpit, pronged grabber claws, missiles, and a Destro figure. Overall, the Mantis just looks cool---barrel-chested, malignant, and like the best of the Cobra arsenal, completely alien and bizarre.
This mission is a two-pronged venture consisting of (A) an extensive test run of Destro’s new Mantis Mech system and (B) an effort to attack and weaken the Sigma 6 defenses. The idea is to press a Sigma 6 outpost, stripping away the fortifications, demoralizing the troops, and striking during an ebb period in which Sigma 6 reinforcements will be in the field and beyond providing reinforcement.
