Thundercracker is particularly noteworthy in that he was previously available only as part of the unassailably cool Botcon 2007 Games of Deception box set. Henkei Classics Thundercracker features partially chrome-plated cannons; his blue, black and silver color scheme otherwise appears to be similar to the Botcon version. Thundercracker’s profile suggests a vague sense of purposelessness and a nagging reticence in regards to the validity of the Decepticon cause. Thundercracker is known for his contemptuousness of anything lacking flight capability. Thundercracker is capable of achieving a flight speed of 1500 mph, and produces controlled sonic booms that can be heard for 200 miles. In Transformers: The Movie, Thundercracker was among a handful of Decepticons that suffered damage during the Decepticons’ siege of Autobot City. Along with Skywarp, the Insecticons, and Megatron himself, Thundercracker was jettisoned from Astrotrain into space, and was reformatted by Unicron into Decepticon Sweep Leader Scourge.
