Real Action Heroes (RAH) Darth Vader features a vast range of articulation as well as vinyl and simulated armor accompaniments, a real fabric cape, lightsaber, and a helmet and mask designed to be dismantled to reveal Vader’s true face. These features, as demonstrated in the photo, allow for a near perfect recreation of the scene in the aftermath of Palpatine’s well-earned destruction.
Darth Vader fought his final duel with his son Luke Skywalker, rebuking Skywalker’s attempts to lure Vader back to the way of the Jedi. Vader, meanwhile, worked to achieve the exact opposite, trying to draw Luke towards the Dark Side. Finally, Skywalker managed to surpass his father, but when he ultimately resisted Palpatine’s goading, the Emperor decided to char-broil Skywalker in a torrent of purple lightning. Vader finally turned against the Palpatine, destroying him, but in the process Vader was saturated by the purple lightning against which he had no defense. His prosthetic armor damaged and malfunctional, Vader asked Skywalker to remove his helmet, to which Luke reluctantly agreed. Beneath the grim black mask, Darth Vader was revealed to be the sad, scarred, dying remnants of a man; however, the countenance now belonged to Anakin Skywalker rather than Darth Vader. Translation = Happy Ending.
