Yoda Vs. Palpatine ArtFX Statue is a snap-together kit. The statue measures 15” in length and 11” in height. Both Yoda and the Emperor are freestanding figures, allowing for a maneuverable tableau. The Emperor’s semi-translucent Force Lightning is an optional component. This statue reenacts the scene from Revenge of the Sith in which Yoda finally confronted Palpatine; the newly-crowned Emperor, conversely, giddily seized the opportunity to reveal his sardonic contempt for the Jedi order and for Yoda himself. Cackling and bellowing, his ghastly countenance shadowed by the hood that would manage to stay in place even under the scrutiny of high-flying summersaults, Palpatine lavishly unleashed his nebulous power. Yoda, with characteristically resolve, resisted the Emperor’s assault. Eventually the battle expanded to include bounding leaps, dizzying heights, and hurling projectiles. Yoda ultimately recognized his inability to overpower the Emperor, and realized that a tactical retreat was his only recourse.
