The Iron Patriot, identified by armor combining elements of both Iron Man and Captain America, is concocted by Norman Osborne as a means of propagating his superhero persona. Utilizing the specifications of the Iron Man Extremis armor, the Iron Patriot suit provides flight capability, vastly heightened strength and durability, an arsenal of weaponry including flamethrowers, lasers, magnetic impact blasts and missile launchers, and a helmet-encompassed communications system granting Osborne access to satellites and computer networks. A notable difference between the Iron Man armor and that of the Iron Patriot is that the latter lacks the former’s Repulsor-based technology.
