Apart from his ability to stretch and reconfigure, Mister Fantastic is resistant against a wide spectrum of physical attacks and virtually all conventional weapons. Additionally, he possesses one of the keenest scientific minds in the Marvel universe, which, given the presence of highly organized super villains such as Doctor Doom, is fortuitous.
Storm’s exposure to cosmic rays gives her the ability to apply invisibility both to herself and other persons and objects within a volume of forty thousand cubic feet. Her abilities extend beyond the power of invisibility to include the manufacture of nearly impenetrable force fields and airtight bubbles, shaped to accommodate herself and others, of varying dimensions.
The result of cosmic ray bombardment, the Human Torch is imbued with the ability to personify and control fire, which enables him to direct fire-based projectiles against obstacles and enemies and to both manipulate and absorb any external sources of flame. His flight capability enables him to surpass the speed of sound. The Human Torch’s Nova Flame form attains a maximum of 1,000,000 degrees Fahrenheit.
