Sterling silver Thor's Hammer Necklace from our Ancient Norse Jewelry line featuring Viking Runes and Jewelry. The Elder Futhark runes on the pendant read right to left: MJOLNIR, (mo-yol-nir) the name of the hammer. The hammer measures 31.8 mm (1 1/4") long, 22.8 mm (just over 7/8") wide at the runes and 5.8 mm (just under 1/4") wide at the narrowest part of the handle. The hammer of Thor weighs approximately 6.2 grams. The back of the pendant is hollowed to reduce weight.
