From Captain Kirk to Lieutenant Sulu, the Command Gold has become one the most iconic colors in all of Star Trek legacy. Thus, when reintroduced in Star Trek XI, audiences new and old were greeted by an old familiar look that blended classic and modern-day Star Trek seamlessly.
Now you can share your appreciation for these characters, embodied in the Command Gold Stunt Costume Tunic, offered by ANOVOS. Limited to 150 pieces, this costume features the iconic delta pattern produced from original screen-used pieces created and approved in conjunction with Bad Robot and CBS. Fabric and dye are from the same sources used by production to bring you unequaled accuracy and superior quality.
This shirt features a neckpiece sewn into the collar to simulate the duty black shirt under layer, as opposed to the Hero-quality version that has a completely separate duty black under shirt.
Be the captain, or be the helmsman and steer towards the second star to the right... Whatever the case, we are not responsible for the sudden attraction to green-skinned females.
Recreating this costume specifically to put into your hands was a challenging but a highly rewarding experience. Closely collaborating with Bad Robot and CBS / Paramount Pictures, our production team had the opportunity to not only handle multiple screen used items, but also use Zachary Quinto’s hero screen used outfit as a resource. During the venture we had some remarkable findings, which include: discovering the exact fabric and using the same dying company used for the production. After a few sewing prototypes to get every detail possible, we are proud to present a final product which is almost indistinguishable to the screen used costume / uniform.

THE PROCESS
Manufacturing:
* Completely crafted in the USA and not Rura Penthe.
* Luxurious gold dye replicated by the original production team.
* Pattern created using multiple screen used tops including Zachary Quinto’s.
* Intricate Delta-pattern print process replicated as original.
The Material:
* Authentic heavy-weight spandex and weight used to capture correct draping and flow.
* Elasticity and fabric thickness allows for a modernized but forgiving cut.
* Accurate stitching accent and designs.
* Ribbing detail with accurate piping thickness.
* Finished sleeves with a single rank stripe.
* Comfortable heavy weight cotton poly blend neck dickie sewn into collar.

PLEASE NOTE: Sizes taken directly from commercial clothing should not be used as substitution of physical measurements.
How to Measure
Some of the basics in measuring:
1. Keep the tape firm but not tight.
2. Make sure the tape is level around the area you are measuring.
3. Take measurements in inches to determine correct sizing.
4. Round up all measurements to the nearest inch. (Example: 10.5 inches round up to 11 inches.)
How to measure specific areas for fitting:
1. Chest: Measure across the widest part of the chest or across the nipples.
2. Waist: Measure from the navel point around the thinner area of the belly.
3. Neck: Measure around the adams apple of the the neck.
4. Arm Length: With your arm relaxed at side and slightly bent, measure from the center back of the neck, over point of shoulder, down the outside of the wrist.
