Each Doctor Who 5” Figure features multiple points of articulation and character-specific accessories if applicable. Both Cybermen are clad in baggy silver space suits, bulky chest/shoulder harnesses and masks, the Cyberleader’s black-bracketed headpiece differentiating him from his Cyberman subordinate. The Cybermen began as biological entities, but over a period a time in which they practiced a familiar ritual of replacing various extremities with cybernetic implants, they evolved into a more bloodless logic-driven culture. Initially faced with planetary doom, the Cybermen are portrayed as aggressively colonialistic and reasonably conquest-hungry. In the episode “Silver Nemesis”, the Cybermen have traveled to Windsor, England in 1988 and have entered into a struggle with a group of Neo-Nazis and Lady Peinforte to acquire the Time Lord weapon, the Nemesis, housed within a statue wrought in Lady Peinforte’s image.
