Utilizing the Beast Wars 10th Anniversary Deluxe Class mold, UN-30 Optimus Primal converts from an overtly mechanized gorilla into a stocky, well-articulated robot mode. Optimus Primal commanded the Axalon during the attempted apprehension of the fugitive Megatron and the stolen Golden Disk. After being time-displaced on prehistoric Earth, Primal was forced to rally his few troops and assemble a well-defended war camp in response to Megatron’s aggressive reorganization. Frequently regarding combat as a reluctant option, Optimus Primal is guided by the same sense of honor as Optimus Prime.
