GC-21 First Gunner (Korean Box)/Cybertron Defense Red Alert depicts Red Alert’s massive upgrade into eight-wheeled carrier/missile launcher with a notably large robot mode; Red Alert’s Cyber Key function enables the projectile-firing blaster concealed within the housing of his shoulder-situated missile as well as Red Alert’s arm-situated flip-out cannon. Storage compartments in Red Alert’s shin plates contain mallet and claw appendages which can be interchanged with the flip-out cannon’s projectile. This version of Red Alert was attached to the elite Cybetronian Defense Team along with fellow Autobots Scattorshot and Hot Shot. Having originated as a scientist and medic, Red Alert and his teammates remained on Cybertron, warding away the likes of rogues like Buzzsaw and Snow Cat, and dealing with the Terrorcons and the general disrepair into which Cybertron had fallen.
