Baron Vladimir Harkonnen, ruler of the House of Harkonnen, is definitely not for the weak of stomach. Set in 7” scale, he hovers, grotesque and blimp-like, in his quilt-padded, stained and corrupted antigravitational suit. The figure is umbilicus-mounted above the polished black floor of his environmental base/diorama. Behind him stands the grimy, seamed green wall of his reception area. In the places where flesh is exposed, the ravening effects of the disease can be seen, bright red, spreading in perfect cadence with the baron's dreams of grandiose dreams of vengeance, murder and conquest.
Aside from Harkonnen immorality and askew concept of family, and even apart from his sluglike corpulence (which necessitates his complicated antigravitational suit), the baron carries the disfiguring disease visited upon him by the Bene Gesserit. Spends the majority of his time scheming against his many enemies like the Bene Gesserit or the Atreides, debasing his victims, and seeing to the various charming effects of his disease.
