At 1/8-scale, Captain America includes a cardboard backdrop and comic book-styled instruction sheet. Some assembly required.
Deemed unfit for combat during WWII, Steve Rogers volunteers for the experimental Super Soldier Serum. Following a period of suspended animation, Captain America is reintroduced to the world. Captain America’s original triangular shield, serving as both a symbol and an armament, is replaced with the nearly indestructible circular shield. Construction of the latter was a singular freak occurrence derived from multiple attempts by metallurgist Dr. Myron MacLain to fuse Wakanda-indigenous Vibranium with an experimental alloy. The Vibranium benefits Captain America by absorbing the majority of any kinetic impact directed against it, and enables the shield, when hurled, to strike multiple opponents in a single swipe.
