One year in the making, the Map of the 12 Colonies of Kobol was developed in collaboration with Battlestar Galactica Co-Executive Producer (and Executive Producer of Caprica Jane Espenson, whose signature appears on the map.
Dr. Kevin R. Grazier of NASA and the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, who was science adviser on Battlestar Galactica and co-author of The Science of Battlestar Galactica, served as science adviser in the making of this map.
Hollywood graphic designer Geoffrey Mandel created the map from scratch, making countless revisions as the technical data underwent painstaking scrutiny. The full-color map measures 26" x 39" and is printed on 100-pound satin-finish paper. Suitable for framing and for hours of enjoyment - especially if you like gazing at heavenly bodies in their relative orbits. Map ships rolled and poly bagged.
