Producer George Pal brought H.G. Wells' classic science-fiction novel The War of the Worlds to the screen. Wells' Martian tripods were replaced by green hovercraft with a death ray appendage, and these machines have gone down in film history as one of the most memorable spacecraft ever. Pegasus Hobbies has recreated the Martian War Machine from Paramount's original blueprints for the film props. Designed and molded to make lighting easy to incorporate, the chrome-plated model comes with clear lenses cast in color, an earthen base, and display stand. This special edition kit comes with copper-style plated finish! Some assembly required.
