Each Clash of the Titans Series 1 figure measures approximately 7” tall, features multiple points of articulation, and is accompanied by character-specific weapons/accessories. This set includes the normal and battle-damaged versions of Perseus, both equipped with swords and shields. Eager to avenge the death of his family against Hades, and charged with the seemingly improbable task of preventing Hades’ surrogate, the Kraken, from either claiming Andromeda as a sacrificial offering or destroying Argos, Perseus embarks on a perilous quest to acquire the one weapon capable of destroying the Kraken: The severed head of the Gorgon Medusa, capable of turning to stone anyone who beholds its demonic likeness. Even as Hades, incapable of destroying Perseus directly, recruits his own servant in the form of the monstrously disfigured Calibos, Perseus expeditiously consults the Stygian Witches for the location of Medusa, and bribes the Devil’s Boatman, Charon, to grant him passage into the Underworld lair where Medusa resides in a squalid decaying temple.
